  • Canadian Education on the Web
    The purpose of Canadian Education on the Web is to bring together everyting relating to Canada and education that has a presence on the World Wide Web. It contains a list of links for each of the following: Canada-wide education organizations, universities and colleges, faculties of Education, community colleges, student newspapers, Ministries of Education, education networks, boards of Education, private schools, school homepages, teacher organizations, school boards, provincial organizations, educational libraries, databases, and clearing-houses.

  • Pathways to School Improvement
    This site offers information for schools interested in designing and evaluating professional development. This site includes a Trip Planner Inventory that helps schools analyse current practices and points them towards specific resources within the site.

  • TVO PDOnline
    This site provides information, resources and solutions for teachers and administrators for classroom use.

  • Discipline Help
    This site is a resource from MASTER Teacher. It offers ideas and resources for handling over one hundred different mis-behaviours at school and home.

  • Best Practice Resources Site
    This site, developed by Barry Sweeny, is a comprehensive staff development resource that focuses on five areas: Mentoring, Peer Coaching, Staff Development, School Improvement, and Authentic Assessment.

    This web page is a categorized list of sites on the Internet found to be useful for enhancing curriculum and teacher growth.

  • Canada's SchoolNet/Rescol canadien
    This is Canada's SchoolNet site, available in both English and French. The SchoolNet website showcases innovative, award-winning Internet-based educational resources and services that provide teachers and learners alike with a single platform from which to access the Information Highway.

  • ERIC Database
    ERIC is the "Educational Resources Information Centre," a federally-funded national information system that provides, through its 16 subject-specific clearing-houses, associated adjunct clearing-houses, and support components, a variety of services and products on a broad range of education-related issues.
